Germans in Kryukiv, September 1943. Judging by the photo, in 1943 there was no longer a huge sawmill building, which still existed in 1941 and was located near the railway embankment, on the bank of the Dnieper. On the left in the photo is the Kryukiv railway bridge, and even further the Runstedt automobile bridge is visible. The structure on the right is a German coastal ramp for unloading heavy equipment from ferries.
