
Unlike most of the trading cities engaged in grain trade, where grain warehouses were located on the pier, in Kremenchuk, grain barns were located in the estates of merchants engaged in the wholesale grain trade. At the flour pier, the goods were only unloaded in order to then be taken to the city.
