The fountain was built in 1976. A fountain with illumination was built in the park by the project of the architect Dadonov. The bottom was decorated with a mosaic panel. Because of its pentagonal shape, the fountain received the unofficial name “Pentagon”. Reconstructed in 2011-2012, now is a musical.
