The egg monument was erected in the park in 2003. It is made of concrete. The height of the monument was about four meters. The monument was destroyed on September 24, 2007 by unknown people, before the arrival of Viktor Yanukovych (then a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine) in the city. According to Vice Mayor Vasily Khomenko, the monument was sent for reconstruction. But until now, it has not been restored.
