The Exchange Square was laid out in 1887 on the Exchange Square between the streets of Khersonska (now Leytenanta Pokladova), Birzhovoy (now the territory of kindergarten No. 18), Birzhova, Zeleno-Konstantynivska (now Nebesniy Sotni) streets.
Today, the territory of the Exchange Square is built up.
