The photo shows the construction of a floating bridge by the Germans from the left bank to Velikiy (Green) Island. On the right of the photo, you can see the granite rock-register, and then the stone wall of the embankment. Behind the embankment, a little to the right, you can see a two-story building that will be rebuilt into the Railway Hospital after the war.
