The old Kryukiv railway bridge in its last days, September 1943. The photo was taken in Kryukiv, on the right, downstream, is the German Rundstedt road bridge. Both bridges will be destroyed by the Germans on September 29, 1943, after the war, a new two-level bridge will be built on the supports of the old railway bridge, and today only concrete supports remain from the Rundstedt road bridge opposite the “Athens”.
