View from the Kryukiv bank of the Dnieper to Zeleny Island, September 1941. The floating bridge in the photo was built across the Dnieper Strait to Zeleny Island, another bridge stretched from the island to the Kremenchuk bank. On the right in the photo you can see the dome of the Assumption Cathedral and the top of the fire tower, which was located near the modern store “Roksolana”.
