The stationary traffic police post, at the entrance to the Kryukovsky bridge, at one time was a formidable outpost for negligent drivers. First, a simple booth was located in front of the bridge, and then a stationary structure grew in its place. Already in independent Ukraine, the post was abolished and destroyed. After disputes over the course of several months between the city authorities and residents of the surrounding houses, a gas station was built at the entrance to the bridge.
