Kremenchuk Fire Tower, which was located near the modern store “Roksolana”, across the street from the side facade of the executive committee.
The first photo was taken before 1917, it shows that the tower was wooden and was located on the roof of the fire brigade building. The second photo from September 1941 – it shows another stone tower, it is known that it was much higher than the previous one and was located next to the fire brigade building, from the side of Soborna Square – because of this, Rosa Luxemburg Street (now Peremohy Street) had a characteristic bend in that place.
The year when the old wooden tower was dismantled and a new one was built is still unknown. In September 1943, the fire brigade building, together with the tower, was completely destroyed.
