Anomaly April in Poltava region: how temperature records and precipitation affected the sowing
This year’s April in Poltava region turned out to be atypically harsh. According to observations of agrometeorologists, the average temperature was 2-2.4 degrees below the climatic norm. Despite the cold, the region received enough moisture: most of the territory received from 85% to 125% of the monthly precipitation norm, and in the northern regions this figure reached a record 180%.
