Caption to the photo: “On the Dnieper, 1950. 5 years have passed since World War II. You can see the hospital, destroyed after that war, as it is today, unfortunately. The people in the photo are students of the Kyiv Medical Institute on practical training, in the “First Soviet City Hospital”. Among them is my uncle Shutko Anatoly (1924 – 1990), sitting on the stern. All the men are participants of the Great Patriotic War. My uncle has a lung injury.”
