In Kremenchuk, barracks were built both with the money of the city duma and at the state expense. The most famous barracks in the city at the beginning of the 20th century are Dnieper, Sakharny, on Sandy Mountain, on Boulevard Street, on the territory of artillery and quartermaster warehouses, and the barracks of the local garrison.
