The author of the project is engineer-colonel A. Struve. The bridge was built in 1870-1872. The opening took place on April 7, 1872. The length of the bridge was about 962 meters. The foundations were lowered to the rocky ground. The rail track was placed on steel transverse beams in the middle between the trusses. For the passage of crews, a table was arranged on the floor in the horizon of the upper surface of the rails.
