Third left Emelianenko Konstantin Viktorovich

In 1936-1941, K. Emelianenko studied at School No. 6 (now School No. 13). He was born in the village of Pogreby, Globinsky district, in the family of a teacher, and since 1933 he has lived in Kremenchuk. During the Nazi occupation, Emelianenko was an active member of the underground patriotic organization of N. Romashkin – I. Lisnenko. After the liberation of Kremenchuk, he voluntarily joined the Red Army. On November 23, the commander of a machine-gun platoon of the 313th rifle regiment of the 110th rifle division of the 5th Guards Army of the 2nd Ukrainian Front, K. Emelianenko, died in a battle for the village of Pavlysh, Kirovograd region, closing the embrasure of an enemy pillbox.
