The Ivan Kotlov Club was opened in Kryukov before the war, on May 1, 1927. It was built for two years by the youth of the car building plant, after the shift they came to the construction of the club. By the way, this is the only building in Kremenchug built in the national Ukrainian style. The author of the project was a native of Kremenchug, Ukrainian architect Fyodor Mikhailovich Mazulenko (02/14/1882 – 12/23/1945), by the way, Fyodor Mikhailovich studied at the Kremenchug railway school, and mastered the specialty “architect” on his own and was a member of the Society of Modern Architects of Ukraine.

Now the club building is a historical and cultural monument of unique architecture (Security number 9-PO). Its status is regulated by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 3, 2009 “On the inclusion of objects of cultural heritage of national importance in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine” and is also a cultural heritage site that is not subject to privatization.
