Kremenchuk, winter 1942-43. The photo was taken from the Rundstedt automobile bridge (today only concrete supports remain from it opposite the “Athens”). On the right is the bank of the Dnieper in the area of 1st Zanasyp, a little further on you can see the Kryukiv railway bridge, to which a train is approaching from the Kremenchuk station. Behind the bridge, in the distance, you can see the buildings of a sawmill and a cloth factory.
